Privacy & tracking choices
Myrick Balance Bookkeeping operates The Financial Check-Up™. This notice describes information used for the program, resource requests, and optional visitor measurement.
Accounts, purchases & resources
We use account and enrollment information to provide access and prevent duplicate purchases. Stripe processes checkout; we do not collect your card details. Resource requests are stored privately, and only explicit email opt-ins are added to Brevo for requested resources and educational emails. You can unsubscribe through those emails. Email opt-in does not grant permission for advertising tracking.
Optional measurement & advertising
Google Tag Manager (Google) is the tag-loading platform. It receives connection information such as IP address and browser information when loaded. Configured tags may use cookies and online identifiers to measure public page visits, program interest, enrollment starts, checkout attempts and successful submitted requests, and support advertising engagement and optimization. No destination analytics or Unlok/Whoop pixel tags were published in the container at setup. Any new recipient or pixel requires an updated notice and appropriate consent before activation.
We do not send emails, names, passwords, card details, personal financial answers, access codes or account/session references as tracking events. Tags are excluded from protected, diagnostic, authentication and payment-reference pages and URLs containing query strings or fragments. Confirmed purchases, enrollments and published course module completions are measured through an isolated blank document that cannot read your account screen or its address. Purchase events include actual amount, currency and an opaque enrollment reference, never a payment reference; complimentary enrollments are not counted as paid purchases. Module events include only the module code, not your identity. The site's built-in event measurement also receives permitted module-completion events.
Consent & withdrawal
Where consent is required, and when your location cannot be resolved, optional tags remain blocked until you accept. Elsewhere they may load unless you refuse or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Accept and Reject are equally available. Cookie settings allows you to withdraw at any time; rejection applies immediately, including to other open tabs on this site.
Your browser stores a random visitor reference, the choice and time, region, and notice version, including earlier choices when you withdraw. These records stay in your browser until you clear site storage; clearing storage removes this local evidence and asks you again where permission is required. The versioned notice is retained in the site source. Blocked events are not replayed after acceptance. No customer matching or server-side advertising uploads are enabled.
Conversion reporting checks permission when the action occurs and again before sending. Browser-local records prevent repeated receipt checks or repeated completion of the same module from counting again; clearing storage or using another browser can remove that protection. A checkout visit is not a sale: the owner-scoped confirmation checks completed Stripe payment and active enrollment. Signed-out receipts are not reported.
